After launching the premium Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 series, Samsung has introduced the new mid-range Android phone Galaxy A26 in India.

The latest Galaxy A26 sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ (1080×2340p) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate and comes with IP67 water-and-dust resistant certification.

It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, dual SIM slots, and a microSD card slot.

It houses Exynos 1380 octal-core processor with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charger.

The new device runs Android 15-based One UI 7.0 OS. It is eligible to get six years of Android OS updates and software security patches against emerging cyber threats up to 2031.

The new Samsung phone boasts of triple camera module— a 50MP rear camera (with f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide angle camera and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor with LED flash on the back. It also comes with a 13MP (f/2.2) front camera for selfies and video calling.

The company is offering the device in two configurations-- 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 24,999, and Rs 27,999, respective. Both will be available for as low as Rs 22,999 and Rs 25,999, respectively for a limited time through launch offers on select bank credit/debit cards.

The Galaxy A26 comes in four colours-- black, mint, peach and white.
