Nothing Phone (3a), (3a) Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 launched in India

Nothing on Tuesday (March 4) launched the new line of the Phone (3a) series in India.

The new Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro come with almost same hardware, but differ in terms of camera and design langauge.

Both the devices feature a see-through design language, but the rear-side camera alignment is little different.

As you can see the picture below, the standard Phone (3a) features a triple camera aligned in a horizontal position. The Phone (3a) Pro features ma ain camera module in a circular formation.

The new Phone (3a) series sports a 6.77-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2392p) flexible AMOLED display, support dynamic refresh rate (30-120Hz) and offer up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Panda Glass shield.

The new Phone (3a) devices also come with dual-SIM slot (& support e-SIM), in-display fingerprint sensor, type-C port and stereo speakers.

A notable addition to the new Phone (3a) series is the Essential Key below the power button. It opens Essential Space, which offers option to take instant notes. With Artificial Intelligence-based algorithm, it can also generate personalised suggestions, summaries, or action points.

Under the hood, the devices come with 4nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 octa-core with Adreno 720 GPU, Android 15-based NothingOS 3.1, 8GB / 12GB LPDD4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W wired charging speed capability.

Nothing Phone (3a) Plus.

The Phone (3a) boasts of triple-camera module-- main 50MP main camera (with f/1.88 aperture, 1/1.56-inch Samsung sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) + 8MP 114-degree ultra-wide camera (with f/2.2) + 50MP (with 1/2.74-inch Samsung 2x telephoto lens) with LED flash on the back.

On the front, it feartures 32MP (1/3.44-inch sensor) for selfies and video calling (up to full 1080p).

On the other hand, the Phone (3a) Pro features triple-camera module-- main 50MP main camera (with f/1.88 aperture, 1/1.56-inch Samsung sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) + 8MP 114-degree ultra-wide camera (with f/2.2) + 50MP (with 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 3x periscope telephoto, OIS) with LED flash.

Nothing Phone (3a) colour options.

On the front, it features 50MP (with 1/2.76-inch sensor, f/2.2) camera. It supports 4K video recording up to 30 frames per second (fps).

Both the devices' main cameras support action mode and can record 4K video with up to 30 fps.

The regular Phone (3a) comes in three colours-- black, blue and white. It will be available in two variants--8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999, respectively.

The top-end Phone (3a) Pro comes in two colours-- black, and grey. It will be available in three variants--8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 28,999, Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999, respectively.

They will be available with limited time discounts with select bank cards and are slated to hit stores later this month on March 11. The devices will be exclusively available online via Flipkart.
