Samsung opens pre-reserve booking for new Galaxy S series ahead of launch in India

South Korean consumer electronics major Samsung is scheduled to unveil the new Galaxy S25 series on January 22.

With less than two left before the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung has an open pre-reserve booking window for prospective buyers of the new Galaxy S series phone on its official website in India.

Customers have to pay a token amount of Rs 1,999 (refundable) to book the new Galaxy S series phone.

In addition to getting their hands first on Samsung's most advanced AI phone, they are entitled to get several benefits worth Rs 5,000.

Also, if the owner has old Samsung phone, he/she will get best exchange value for trading in for new Galaxy S series device.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series: Here's what to expect in the Galaxy S24 successor

South Korean consumer electronics major is scheduled to unveil the new Galaxy S25 series on January 22.

It is expected to bring big upgrades to the new phones over the Galaxy S24 series.

The company is expected to offer the new device in four variants-- Galaxy S24, S25 Plus, S25 Slim and S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Slim is the first of its kind in the Galaxy S series. The latter will come with a super thin frame. It is said to feature a 6.66-inch screen and will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 4,700mAh battery.

It also features a triple camera module-- main 200MP+ 50MP ultrawide sensor + 50 MP telephoto lens-- with LED flash on the back.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to feature a 6.88-inch QHD+ (3120×1440p) Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage and a 5,000mAh battery.

It will also come with a triple-camera module-- a 200MP main sensor with a 12MP telephone lens and a 50MP camera--with LED flash.

The Galaxy S24 Plus will come with the same features as the S24 Slim but differ in terms of battery capacity and camera.

The low-end Galaxy S24 is said come with a small 6.2-inch dynamic super AMOLED display, triple-camera module-- 50MP+12MP+10MP-- LED flash on the back, 12MP front camera, Android 15-based One Ui 7.0, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, Exynos chipset (for international market)/Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset (in US/Canada/China) and a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charger.

Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will go live at 11;30 pm IST, January 22. The company has made arrangements to stream live on its official website and Samsung YouTube channel.
