Last week, OnePlus launched the new OnePlus 15R along with the OnePlus Pad Go 2 in India.
The new Android tablet comes with big upgrades in terms of display, build quality, processor and a big battery over the predecessor.
Design, build quality and display
The latest Pad Go 2 series flaunts a slim design language. It measures just 6.8mm in thickness and weighs a little over 597g.
It is very easy to carry around in one's hand. The tablet is made of sturdy material, but I still recommend getting a cover case.
On the front, it sports a really good 12.2-inch full HD+ (2800x1980p) LCD panel with pixel density of 284 ppi (pixels per inch), and support variable 120Hz refresh rate.

It supports peak brightness of 900 nits. The display is vibrant, perfect for multimedia consumption.
Besides binge-watching TV series or movies, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is great for shopping on e-commerce apps. Thanks to the big display, users can check out finer details of a product, such as the fabric of the apparel and even consumer electronics. Also, most importantly, users can read all the tiny details of the terms and conditions before making an informed decision to make a purchase or not.

Also, with an innovative TUV Rheinland Smart Care 4.0 certified screen with7:5 ReadFit aspect ratio, the device is also good for reading e-books for several hours at night and with low risk of strain to the eyes. It controls the emission of harmful blue light.

OnePlus Pad Go 2 also comes with an optional SIM card slot (only Shadow Black model with 256GB storage), a Type-C port, quad speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4GHz & 5GHz) and support for Face unlock security feature.
Performance
Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor, LPDDR5X 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 handles day-to-day activities such as internet browsing, consuming multimedia content on OTT apps, and even popular games. However, with the big screen, it is better suited ot play digital board games like Chess or retro titles such as Angry Birds and Temple Run.

The tablet runs Android 16-based OxygenOS. Though it has a lot of third-party apps, the user interface is clean and easy to navigate through the settings.
OnePlus also offers Stylo, which promises to offer precision note-taking capability and help users create digital art.
There are lots of applications on the Google Play Store to make full use of the big display of the OnePlus Pad Go 2.

With a full charge, Stylo can deliver 20 hours of battery life. It also supports fast charging. With just 10 minutes of charging, it can last for 12 hours.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 also supports Google's Circle to Touch AI feature and other third-party AI apps such as ChatGPT, Perplexity AI and more.
Also, the device is guaranteed to get five years of Android OS updates (up to 2030) and six years of security patches for protection against emerging cyber threats up to 2031.
It features an 8MP main camera with an LED flash on the back. It captures pretty decent photos, but better utilised for scanning books and documents. They can be turned into PDFs using productivity applications.
On the front, it comes with an 8MP sensor. It also takes good snaps and comes in handy for video calling.
Both cameras can record full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second.
It houses a massive 10,050mAh battery. It can easily last a whole day under normal usage.
Users can binge-watch an entire season of a TV series (10 episodes, each having a run time of 45-50 minutes) without any anxiety of running out of battery.
Under standby mode, it can last for several days. It supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
