<p>A motorcyclist died after falling from a flyover at Geeta Colony in east Delhi during the wee hours of Monday, police said.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Ambedkar Vihar’s Manoj Kumar was going from Karawal Nagar to Badarpur when the accident took place.<br /><br />Under alcohol influence<br /><br />He was allegedly riding his motorcycle at a high speed and under the influence of alcohol.<br /><br />“An initial investigation has revealed that he fell from a height of around 50 feet after his motorcycle rammed into the railing of Taj Enclave Flyover,” a police official said.<br />A passerby informed police after he saw Manoj lying in a pool of blood.<br /><br />“He was taken to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Dilshad Garden, where doctors declared him brought dead,” the official added.<br /><br />Prima facie it appears that Manoj was taking a sharp turn on the flyover while heading towards Raj Ghat, police said.<br /><br />Due to the high speed, he probably lost control and rammed his motorcycle into the flyover’s railing. <br /><br />Manoj, who worked with a private company in Badarpur, is survived by his wife and two children.</p>
