A woman representative of a private company has lost two diamond rings in the washroom at The Lalit Ashok hotel on Kumara Krupa Road.
In a complaint to the High Grounds police on Thursday, Tanvi Maheshwari stated that at 6.45 pm when she had gone to the washroom, she had kept her rings on the couch in the washroom, near the mirror, only to find them missing on her return.
She immediately brought the matter to the notice of the hotel staff, who held a night-long search but they could not find the rings.
Tanvi was at the hotel to organise a conference pertaining to her company on Thursday. The police have sought the CCTV footage and are investing the case.
