Security beefed up at Jagalur MLA's house

Even as the news that attempts were on to draw Ramachandra into the BJP fold was aired on television channels, two bike-borne unidentified men smashed a tube light in front of MLA’s house and shouted slogans against him. The security was tightened before ‘things went out of hand’, Superintendent of Police Venkatesh  said.

There was none in the house of the legislator and their whereabouts are not known, police said. The house is located in K B Extension. Reacting to the rumours, former minister S S Mallikarjun (Congress) told Deccan Herald that the resignation of the legislator was yet to be confirmed and if true, it amounts to betrayal.
