The attack took place in Sydney’s CBD after the men got into an argument that escalated into a fight, New South Wales police said. The police did not reveal the identity or nationality of the victims, but TV channels said they were Indians.
The two juveniles have been arrested and charged with the assault. The boys, a 16-year-old from Peakhurst and 17-year-old from Hurstville, were charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in the company of others.
The victims, both aged 20, were taken to Sydney Hospital where they were treated for bruising and minor lacerations.
