Inaugurated by Dr Wooday P Krishna, general secretary of Seshadripuram Trust, the exhibition provided an opportunity to the students to showcase their talent by creating projects and models. It was an exciting day for the participants as one could see the adrenaline rush among them. They were excited to pick up the tables, decorate their allotted areas and exhibit their models in the exhibition.

They made a commendable presentation of these models too. The models ranged from ‘Just In Time Production Technique’ to the manufacturing processes of silk, biscuits and gold mining techniques. The students felt motivated on being awarded with surprise prizes. A jury panel consisting of Lakshman, Ramesh and Veena, the faculty members of the science department, selected the winning teams impartially.

The second year B Com students of ‘C’ section won the first prize for their model on ‘Ancient Siege Craft’. The second prize was grabbed by the first year B Com students from ‘A’ and ‘B’ sections for a model named ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ which dealt with ‘Public Distribution System’.

The third prize went to the second year B Com students of ‘C’ section for the project on 'Rain Harvesting' and 'Farm Resources'. This model focused on the usage of wind power, eco-friendly dairy and solar power. The consolation prize was won by the second year B Com students of 'D' section for their working model of a biscuit factory.

“The students have understood the concept and have highlighted the management techniques in their business models,” said Dr S Sharmila from the Department of Commerce and Management.

“A competition called ‘Hit The Target and Get The Munch’ was enjoyed by all,” remarked Vaishak Prasad, a B Com student. The competition-cum-exhibition was an informative and enlightening experience for the students. It succeeded in motivating students to take part in the event the next time.

With the combined efforts of principal Dr Narahalli Balasubramanaya, vice-principal M D Rajan, Parameshwaraiah, HOD of Commerce Management along with coordinators, participants, teachers and students, the exhibition turned out to be a grand success.
