The flight landed back safely at 3.15 pm. "Full emergency was declared at 2.31 pm for Kingfisher Airlines flight IT 3141 (Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar) due to a technical problem. The flight landed safely at 3:15 pm," a Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) said.
The full emergency was withdrawn at 3:18 pm, the spokesperson said adding the flight had taken off from Mumbai at 1:51 pm for Bhubaneshwar with an endurance time of three hours.
When contacted, Kingfisher Airlines spokesperson said the commander decided to take back the flight to Mumbai after he received a "cautionary alert" from one of the systems.
