Nine paddlers, without Sharath, will set out for London tomorrow to play three Test matches before going to Glasgow.

World number 85 Sharath, the best bet in singles, will join the team later after fulfilling his commitments with the Super Division club San Sebastian in Spanish League.

Sharath had pulled off an upset victory against world number 39 Steger Bastian of Germany in the World Championship in Japan last week.

Subhajit Saha, Sourav Chakraborty, A Amal Raj and Pathik Mehta complete the five men in the squad.

Neha, who missed the World Championship due to academic commitments, will spearhead the Indian campaign among women. Poulomi Ghatak, Mouma Das, Kumaresan Shamini and Madhurika Patkar are the others in the women squad.

During the week-long tournament the paddlers will be accompanied by national coach Massimo Constantini and Bhawani Mukherjee, chief coach for table tennis in NIS Patiala.

Team: Achanta Sharath Kamal, Subhajit Saha, Sourav Chakraborty, A Amal Raj, Pathik Mehta, Neha Aggarwal, Poulomi Ghatak, Mouma Das, Kumaresan Shamini and Madhurika Patkar.

Coaches: Massimo Constantini (Italy) and Bhawani Mukherjee.
