<p> The 31-year old woman was living in a house in Sahyadri apartments at Malad suburb in north west Mumbai with her husband and in-laws. The Sahyadri tower has 21 floors. Her house was on the 9th floor.<br /><br /> She took the extreme step in the morning hours, taking the kids to the 19th floor. From there, she first threw off her 10-year old son Gaurav, then her 3-year old daughter Mahika, and finally jumped off herself, while family members were at home.<br /><br /> All the three died instantaneously. Initially, the police said no suicide note was found, but later claimed to have traced a note in which Nidhi had stated that nobody should be held responsible for the incident. The focus of the probe is on husband Pankaj and and the in-laws. Nidhi allegedly left home saying that she was taking the children to schools. A local gardener James Philip Ghondalvis saw Gupta jumping from the floor and has been made a witness in the case.</p>
