<p>The students complained of stomach pain and started vomiting a few hours after eating the food. A total of 299 students are studying from first to seventh standard in the school. Most of them who took ill were fourth, fifth and sixth standard students.<br /><br />Tension prevailed for sometime as almost all the students complained of uneasiness. Four students, Niranjan, Rakshitha, Pradeep and Tanuja were immediately shifted to a private nursing home in Mandya for treatment. While others were treated at government hospital in Malavalli.<br /><br />On receiving of information,Block Education Officer M Shivamadappa, District Health Officer Arvindappa, Taluk Medical Officer Gandesh, Dr Sanjay, Dr Nagaraj, Food Inspector M K Vishwanath and others visited the spot.</p>
