Land scam: Sohan Kumar appeals to High Court

Seeking the setting aside of the lower court order, Kumar, in his petition has termed the complaint “arbitrary and illegal”.

According to the petitioner, the lower court has erred in taking cognisance of the offences, for which the Governor has not accorded sanction.

The petition states that the court has not recorded reasons for taking cognisance of the offence. It also blames the complainant for being “mischievous” and filing complaints for which sanction had not been accorded.
