Earlier,Madhuri Thathachari, Managing Trustee of Bhramara Trust inaugurated the programme. M L Krishnaswamy, vice-president of Vasundharothsava 2011, H Sundareshan, Administrative Officer, Vidya Vardhaka Educational Trust were present. Prof H S Umesh, principal, Sarada Vilas BEd college were felicitated for yeoman service in the field of theatre. He was presented a citation, a moment and a cash award of Rs 2000.
Arkanath, secretary, Sadvidya Institutions will inaugurate the second day of the programme on May 14. Carnatic musician Vidwan Venkata Raghavan would be felicitated on the occasion. Brahmakumari Lakshmi Didi, Chief, Mysore Zone of Brahmakumaris will be chief guest for the thir d and final day of the programmee. Guru Varija Nalige and Sandesh Bhargav will present a special bharathanatya choreography.
