College bags individual Championship

The JSS team pooled 83 points, a release from the Law college said here.
Out of the 42 colleges, the JSS Law college got individual championship (men’s section) secured 83 points and won five gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze medals.

Individual winners are

Arun S - Javelin Throw (Ist place) Discuss throw (IInd place), Somaiah P P - Tripple Jump (Ist place) 4 X100 mtrs Relay (Ist place) and 200 mtrs Running Race (IIIrd place), Raghav N Prasad - High Jump ( Ist Place) 4X100 Relay (Ist place) and 4X400 mtrs Relay (Ist place), Siddesh - 4X400 mtrs Relay - Ist place, 1500 mtrs Running Race (IInd place), 5000 mtrs Running Race (IIIrd place), Joice George - 4X400 mtrs Relay (Ist place) Shot Put Throw (IInd place), Abbin Simon - 4X100 mtrs Relay (Ist place), Gaurav Mandappa - 4X400 mtrs Relay (Ist place), Bharadwaj - 4X100 mtrs Relay (Ist place).

New office-bearers

M C Rajanna was elected president of Lions Club of Mysore-JP Nagar for the year, a release said.

The other office-bearers are; K S Mallikarjunaiah-first vice-president, K V Partharaju-second vice-president, B M Mallikarjun-secretary, K Suresh-joint secretary, K A Siddalingappa-treasurer and Dr K N Subbarayappa-membership committee chairman.
