'Join hands for devt works'

Speaking at the inaugural of various development works implemented under the SFC and 12th Finance Scheme here on Thursday, Datta said that Hassan MP H D Deve Gowda will reserve Rs 1 crore from his MP Fund for the development of Kadur taluk. Datta said that MLA K M Krishnamoorthi, who won four times from the constituency, had strived for the development of the region. “I will also extend my co-operation for the development of the taluk,” he assured.

MLA Krishnamoorthi said: “I will work jointly for the development of the constituency along with Datta, forgetting the fact that I belong to Congress and he belongs to JDS.” Congress leader Siddaramaiah and JDS leader Revanna were successful in pointing out the malpractices and corruptions of BJP government in the Vidhan Sabha, he said and added that the BJP government is showing discrimination while allocating development funds to MLAs. The proposal of building Kittur Rani Chennamma Hostel at Kadur taluk has been shifted to Sakharayapatna in the constituency of BJP MLA C T Ravi, Krishnamoorthi said.
