Speaking to officials and elected representatives after visiting Endosulfan victims in Nidle and Patrame on Saturday, he said the local bodies should work for the development of victims.
He directed the Taluk Panchayat EO to constitute a disabled persons development committee. A 30 member committee will be constituted to get a detailed report.
Dr Ravindranath Shanubhagh said Endosulfan was sprayed in 82 places in the State, which has affected the genes. The scanning of pregnant woman is must in this regard.
