Theatre ransacked in City

They were upset and agitated when the sound system stopped functioning during the screening of the movie. A section of the audience started booing and later targeted seats inside the theatre and damaged some of them. As the situation was getting out of hand and apology from the staff fell on deaf ears, the management alerted the police.

On reaching the spot, police pacified the agitated audience and in the meantime, the theatre staff fixed the problem. Later, the screening of the movie continued. This is Teja's second film after Chiruta, which failed to keep the cash registers ringing.

According to industry sources, the tickets for the film, which has Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's son in the lead role, has been a big hit in the City and the tickets were being sold at prices as high as Rs 800.
