Woman robbed of valuables worth Rs 40K

Hemalatha, a resident of SBM Layout is the victim. A youth on foot robbed her off her gold chain and another silver valuable, near her house, around 3.30 pm.  She raised an alarm and found help in a neighbour who came outside the house, but in vain. 

The youth by then had made his way jumping on to a waiting two-wheeler at a distance.

Hemalatha who is a singer was going to her regular practice, when the incident occurred.

It’s a second such incident in a span of two days in Kuvempunagar police limits alone. 
A case has been registered.
Three die 
Three persons have died in separate incidents in the city.
A 72-year-old man stung in bee attack, succumbed at K R Hospital here on Saturday early hours.  Girishetty of K R Mill colony is the deceased.  He had been stung when he went to  collect leaves for livestock on Friday. 
In another case, a 35-year-old man admitted at the hospital for suicide attempt by consuming poison, died on Friday night. Ramu K, of Hudco layout in Bannimantap is the deceased. 
He was an autorickshaw driver. He was ailing for sometime, the reason for taking extreme step.
N R police have registered the cases. Veerabhadrappa of Koodanahalli has committed suicide by consuming poison, on Friday.

He took the extreme step owing to stomach ache, according to south police. 
A case has been registered. 26 held in club raid 
City Crime Branch (CCB) police raided a club in first main, Jayanagar on Friday and arrested 26 indulging in card game. However, they were released later on bail.

Acting on a tip off, the policed led by ACP Shashikumar and Inspector Jayakumar raided the club and recovered Rs 18,000 stake amount, and arrested the accused.  They were later handed over to Ashokapuram police. 
A case has been registered.
