Eshwarappa has 'high hopes' for BSY

Last Updated 15 October 2011, 19:47 IST

“He is just an accused and not a convict. He tendered resignation on the ground that he has been named in the Lokayukta report,” Eshwarappa told mediapersons. He was in the City to supervise preparations for ‘Janachetana yatra’ of senior BJP leader L K Advani.

“Politics has been reduced to mudslinging now-a-days. It has become a habit for Opposite parties to come up with new accusations every day and under such circumstances none can continue as minister,” Eshwarappa noted. He said even the Opposition party members would have to appear in courts one or the other day.

Accusing the Union government of being partisan in addressing power crisis in the State, Eshwarappa said protests would be held at all the district centres on October 18 to condemn the discrimination.
