Suraj steers Sprint Star to win in Rajyotsava Trophy

Favourite Sprint Star, steered by Suraj Narredu and trained by Satish Narredu, held off the challenge of Hatsuhana (S Fargeat up) to clinch the seven-furlong Rajyotsava Trophy, the plum event of the opening day’s races here on Monday.
Suraj had a good start to the Winter Season, booting home two winners -- Sprint Star and Abnoba in the Kunigal Trophy.
