OnePlus unveils Nord 5, Nord CE 5 with Buds 4 series in India

The OnePlus Nord 5 will be available in dry ice, marble sands, and phantom grey colour options with prices starting at Rs 31,999.

OnePlus on Tuesday (July 8) launched the much anticipated Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 along with Buds 4 series budget earphones in India

OnePlus sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K(2800 x 1272p) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and supports up to 1800 nits peak brightness.

It comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i shield, IP65 water-and-dust resistant rating, in-display fingerprint sensor, Plus Key button, dual-SIM slots (type: nano), Infrared sensor and a Type-C USB port.

Inside, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with Adreno 735 GPU, Android 15-based Oxygen OS 15, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, dual-camera module-- main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch Sony LYT-700 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) + 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera (with f/2.2 aperture, 3.5cm macro,) with LED flash on the back, a 50MP (with 1/2.75″ Samsung JN1 sensor, f/2.0) front camera and a 6,800mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging capability.

Both the front and back cameras can record high-quality 4K videos at 60 frames per second.

The Nord 5 is available in dry ice, marble sands, and phantom grey --colour options. It comes in three configurations-- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage-- for Rs 31,999, Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively.

On the other hand, the Nord CE 5 features a 6.77-inch full HD+ (2392×1080p), 120Hz refresh rate, and supports up to 1430 nits peak brightness.

It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots (type: nano), an infrared sensor, and a Type-C USB port.

Inside, it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 octa-core processor, Android 15-based Oxygen OS 15, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB/256GB storage (UFS 3.1) and dual cameras-- main 50MP (with 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor, f/1.8, OIS) + 8MP 112-degree ultra-wide camera (f/2.2) with LED flash on the back (can record videos up to 4K at 60 fps), an 16MP (f/2.4) front camera (can record full HD 1080p at 60 fps) and a 7,100mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging capability.

The Nord CE 5 is available in--black infinity, marble mist and nexus blue colour options. It comes in three configurations-- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage-- for Rs 24,999, Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively.

For a limited time, the company is offering up to Rs 2,000 discount through select bank credit/debit card plans.

The new OnePlus Buds 4 come with an 11mm 30-layer ceramic-metal diaphragm woofer with a 6mm tweeter.

The Buds 4 also boasts of active noise cancellation (ANC) feature and can reduce up to 55dB noise.

Another notable aspect of the device is that it supports AI Translation via the OnePlus phone. It can the user to interact with people whenever they travel to exotic places and interact with locals with different languages.

Each bud also features touch controls on the top of the stem and comes with IP55 ratings for dust and water resistance.

With a full charge, it can deliver up to 44 hours of battery life. It is available in two colours-- storm grey and zen green-- for Rs 5,999
