Watery grave for two women

Two women drowned in a tank near Bhovi Colony in HSR Layout police limits on Tuesday. The dead - Huligemma and Parvatamma, both 19, - hailed from Raichur district.

The victims were working as workers at an under-construction building. They slipped into the tank while they were washing clothes. Relatives and friends grew anxious as the duo did not return even by evening and informed the police. The body of Huligemma was retrieved on Tuesday night and that of  Paravatamma was yet to be traced, said police.
