Teachers told to imbibe professionalism

Speaking at the teachers day celebrations, he said teachers should update their knowledge continuously. They should inculcate professionalism in them.  Before implementing the code of conduct of the government, teachers should draw a code of conduct for themselves. Instead of creating a citizen who is interested in minting money, teachers should inculcate values in the life of a student. At the same time, he should imbibe patriotism among the students.

Felicitation
Kadur Deepthi Vidya Mandira student Chaitra, SSR Prayogika High School student K Manu, Chowlahiriyur K R Prathibha and Aishwarya of Koppa were felicitated for securing highest marks in SSLC.

As many as 13 teachers were conferred with Best Teacher award on the occasion. They include Sringeri Durga Temple Primary School’s Anitha, N R Pura Madaburu School’s Asha, Shankarappa of Horatti, Shahirabanu of Urdu School, Gullanpete, Renukamma of Birur Railway colony school, Thippeshappa of Hurukanahalli in Kadur, Marulasiddaiah of Jambadahalli in Tarikere, Rajappa of Veeragallu Makki, H R Govindappa of Koppa School, Uma Maheshwarappa Ambedkar School, Prakashmurthy of Mallapura, Basavaraj of Sringeri and B Lingappa of N R Pura.
