Residents lock up PDO in Mulbagal

Residents of Kavathanahalli village locked up PDO’s at a temple in the village, for not solving a drinking water crisis.

Gram Panchayat Development Officer and bill collector of Sonnavadi GP were locked up in the temple.

Residents alleged that the officers had not taken any action to supply water to the village, which is facing acute water scarcity from two months.

PDO was released after Venkataswamy, Taluk Panchayat Executive visited the place and promised to solve the problem soon.

Residents Muniswamygowda, Narayanagowda, Naray- anappa, K M Munivenkatappa, Somu, K S Ravi Kumar and others were present.
