JOIN USJennifer Kotwal has been missing for quite sometime from the Sandalwood circuit. She hasn’t signed any films in Kannada and isn’t seen at any of the events in the City organised by the Sandalwood fraternity.
Jennifer was last seen essaying the role of a press reporter in the Kannada film ‘Prince’, opposite Darshan. She has been hopping in and out of Bangalore for inaugural functions, product lunches and has a good number of ad shoots lined
up till the end of the year.
On the film front, she has signed a film in another language which she is not keen on disclosing at the moment. “I have nothing substantial coming my way from the Kannada film industry. I live in Mumbai and if I have to dedicate 60 days or more to shooting for a film in another language, it has to be worth my time, money and effort. It can’t be just another project, it has to be something substantial,” says Jennifer.
She’s looking for a character quite similar to the one she did in Jogi. “I am remembered for my role in Jogi and it gave me a good exposure as an actress. I don’t want to do a serious film. People go to the theatre to be entertained and I am an entertainer,” she reasons.
Jennifer has been getting mails from her little fans asking her why she isn’t doing too many films, “I have eight-year-old and 12-year-old kids asking me why I am not doing any films. Kids don’t lie and they’re honest about everything. I always trust what
they say,” she adds.
Jennifer likes to do spunky and vivacious characters and she is
willing to wait until that comes her way. Jennifer has been doing everything she can fromeating right and sticking to a disciplined exercise regime to stay fit, “I am doing a lot of ad shoots. I recently travelled to Pakistan to shoot for a fairness cream advertisement. It was a good experience except that you had to be covered from head to toe,” she informs.
