A tamed elephant from Dubare elephant camp created havoc on Wednesday evening.
The elephant all of sudden pushed a boat and river raft on Cauvery river banks with its trunk and tusk.
The people on the boat were scared and jumped into the river. However, swimming experts saved the people who jumped in the river and saved them from drowning.
The elephant is named Chandru and its Mahout is Basavaraju. Mahouts with other tamed elephants managed to calm the elephant and chained it in the camp. The tourists were relived after the elephant was chained.
