'Reallocate portfolios or face consequences'

Former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda has expressed unhappiness over the delay in the reallocation of portfolios and appointments to boards and corporations by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar.

If the chief minister did not take up the process at the earliest, he would have to face the consequences, he warned.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City on Saturday, Gowda said: “I had urged the BJP State unit president and the chief minister, soon after he took over, to take measures for reallocation of portfolios and make appointments to boards and corporations. But that has not been done. I had raised the matter at the BJP core committee meeting, which was attended by both. Both had promised to take up the reallocation and the appointments,” he added.
