Co-operatives' convention on Jan 18, 19

 National convention of Sahakara Bharati will be held on January 18 and 19 at the National College Grounds in Bangalore.

National president of Sahakara Bharati Satish Marathe, said as many as 10,000 co-operatives will participate in the convention, which is scheduled to be inaugurated by RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat. Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and Cooperation Minister B J Puttaswamy will be the chief guests, he added.

All issues related to cooperative sector will be discussed during the convention, he said.

State Apex Bank President R M Manjunath Gowda said it is for the first time the national convention is being held in the City. Workshops will also be organised at district centr- es for cooperatives, he added.
