StanChart exits talks over RBS

 Standard Chartered’s talks to buy assets in China, India and Malaysia from UK rival Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have collapsed due to differences over valuation, two people familiar with the matter said.  Sources familiar with the matter had said the talks involved the retail and small business operations that state-controlled RBS hoped to sell.
The person said there was a small chance that talks could be restarted.
