Attach Rachenahalli land, BSY dares govt

Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has dared the government to attach the “legally denotified” land in Rachenahalli in Bangalore, if it does not approve of it.

Speaking after being felicitated by citizens of Bagalkot on Sunday, he said the government should stop blaming him on the issue.

With regard to according special status to Hyderabad-Karnataka region, he said that the chief minister should take a delegation to New Delhi to exert pressure on the parliamentarians, rather than just making statements.

He threatened to launch an agitation if the Central government fails to accord special status to the region under Section 371 of the Constitution, based on the Telangana model.
