Three youths were arrested by the Robertsonpet police on Sunday night, for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl.
Police have identified the suspects as Mohan Kumar, 21, a resident of Kollikothuru, Rajesh Reddy, 21, a resident of Doddakambali and Sunil, 24, a resident of Kodihalli.
Kidnap
Police said Mohan Kumar, along with his two friends, kidnapped the daughter of Prakash from her house on March 19.
The suspects first took the girl to Bangalore in a car and later drove off to Chennai via Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. Kumar allegedly married the girl at a Ganesha Temple in Chennai and sexually assaulted her.
The Robertsonpet police have registered cases for kidnapping, rape and other acts. The suspects have been remanded in judicial custody, while the girl has been sent to Balamandira.
