Gritty Akshay puts it past Jagadish

In a see-saw battle, Akshay held his nerve to overcome Jagadish at the Canara Union Hall in Malleshwaram.

Jagadish got off a good start, winning the first game 9-11 but Akshay bounced back to clinch the second 11-5. Despite losing the third game at 5-11, Akshay went on to win the next two.

Shreyas Kulkarni captured the cadet boys’ title after beating Samartha R 11-6, 14-12, 5-11, 12-10 while Spoorthy MV took home the cadet girls’ crown with a 6-11, 11-3, 11-6, 12-10 win over Aishwarya N.
