The demands included permanent drinking water facility, shelter for those having no houses under Suvarna Gram Yojna, and additional grants under the NREGS.
Tahsildar Shivegowda, ZP Engineer Manjunath, Hesagal GP President Divya Prithviraj, Police Circle Inspector G T Swamy assured the residents of fulfiling their demands within a week. The dharna was withdrawn.
