While, sky remains cloudy during day time, temperature goes up during night. This uncommon change in the atmosphere worries farmers in the region as it affects the crops.

At many places, arecanut, ready for precessing, is being rotten due to the impact of rains. Farmers are losing hope of getting good price as the colour of boiled arecanut started fading. Farmers also face difficulty to transport arecanut to the market due to the rain. As a result, majority of the farmers are trapped in financial crisis.

Meanwhile, coffee growers are in distress as the ripe Arabica coffee beans are falling in the plantation.

At the same time, harvested coffee beans at many places have started rotting.
While flowers have bloomed in Robusta coffee plants at many places in the region, coffee beans become ripe due to rain.

Paddy fields were also not spared from the rain woes. Grown paddy crops were seen decaying at several paddy fields.
