<p>Former cricketer and Team India captain Sourav Ganguly today put a lid on speculations about him contesting Lok Sabha elections, saying he would not join politics.<br /><br /></p>.<p>"I am not in politics. I am a man of sports," he said.<br /><br />"It is confirmed," Ganguly told reporters after a visit to state secretariat, Nabanna.<br /><br />He said he visited Nabanna to discuss matters related to his upcoming school project here.<br />Last month, Ganguly had said that he had received an offer from BJP to contest next year's Lok Sabha elections, but was undecided.<br /><br />Speculation was doing the rounds after he met Varun Gandhi through a common friend in Delhi in mid-November last year.</p>
