<p>Volkswagen Group's luxury sports car maker Porsche is on a sales network expansion drive in India as part of strategy to increase foothold in the country.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Porsche India, which has opened its latest showroom in Gurgaon during the weekend, is looking to enhance its presence in East India as well to spread its reach.<br /><br />"While Porsche Centre Gurgaon is our newest showroom, we are all set to open another contemporary facility soon in Mumbai which will be followed later this year by a new one at Kolkata," Porsche India Director Anil Reddi told PTI.<br /><br />The company is present in eight cities -- Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai.<br /><br />On the Gurgaon outlet, he said the facility offers 10,900 sq ft space across two levels with display space for up to 15 cars and "the world-class showroom is a tangible example of the commitment that Porsche has for the Indian market".<br /><br />Porsche India is a division of Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt Ltd. It has been the official importer for Porsche's range of luxury sports cars since April 1, 2012.<br /><br />Its range of cars include Boxster, Cayman, 911, Cayenne and Panamera. These are available at a price range of Rs 71.17 lakh to Rs 2.66 crore. <br /></p>
