Wouldn’t it be nice to pack your bags, choose your favourite car and drive down to your favourite destination on your own?

Take control of adventure, accelerate to cover as many destinations as possible or slow down the pace to cherish the company of your loved ones, play your favourite song and watch a sunset.

Either people go out on vacation in their cars or they hire a car with a chauffer.
But if we go by the latest trends, youngsters are going on ‘self-drive’ holidays nowadays.

It allows travellers to drive at their own pace, cover those miles, create wonderful memories and celebrate their vacations.

Travellers can now roam around stress-free without having to worry about where to leave the car, with the facility of self-drive when you hop to different destinations using different modes of transport.

Just get into the car and drive off to a destination unplanned. Although the number of car rental agencies having an organised self-drive segment is less, key market players like Carzonrent are doing well.

Sakshi Vij, spokesperson of Carzonrent, said, “Hiring a car and driving it on your own gives a pride of ownership and allows you to take the car and explore the unbeaten roads.

It also gives you complete freedom and flexibility to discover destinations at a desired pace.

Currently, we have 250 cars under self-drive in 16 cities with 100 locations from where people can come and pick up the cars. We have all kinds of cars, like Swift Dzire, Fortuner, Endeavour, etc and the age group which is taking a keen interest in self-drive
is from 25-32 years old.”

The company has witne-ssed an increase in their bookings during summer holidays across India. The procedure to hire a car is also simple.

Just get yourself registered, give a copy of the driving licence and pay by credit or debit card.

“We have been getting tremendous response and mostly people hire cars for weekend getaways. The other trend which is coming up is ‘within the city usage’,” added Sakshi.

One of the customers, Sahil Rajpal, who availed their services, said, “I booked a Fortuner for four days during the wedding of one of my friends. Although this service is quite common abroad, it is rapidly growing in India. The most important aspect is that one gets privacy and can take the car anywhere they want.”

Juhi Jain, another customer, added, “There are times when you want to book a cab and there is no surety.

This is where such services come into the picture. The availability of a car guaranteed and no hassle even while booking, is bliss.”

Be it in Delhi or anywhere else in India, self-drive holidays can be your next option for a vacation. So this time, there is no need to book
a flight or train tickets.

Justget rolling on those four wheels and experience the joy of travel!
