Yediyur corporator N R Ramesh and a former corporator of Sudhama Nagar Prabhu came to blows over suspected land deal at the office of Joint Commissioner, BBMP South Zone in the second block of Jayanagar under Siddapura police limits on Tuesday.
According to police, Ramesh went to the BBMP office to meet an official while Prabhu, former corporator of Sudhama Nagar, was also there to meet the same official.
When they were about to go inside, an altercation broke out and they came to blows.
Before things would get worse, a few staff members intervened and stopped the fight. They also alerted the police who visited the spot and asked them not to create ruckus inside the office.
Both have filed complaints against each other.
