JOIN USVeteran actor Om Puri, who will be seen doing some steamy scenes with Bollywood hottie Mallika Sherawat in the upcoming film 'Dirty Politics', is quite impressed with his co-star and wishes to work with her again.
When Mallika Sherawat has always been in news for controversial reasons, Om Puri finds her to be innocent and has named her as 'Mallika Sharafat'.
Revealing his apprehension about working with Mallika Sherawat, Om Puri, as quoted in Deccan Chronicle, said, “I had heard stories about her and was quite apprehensive. But when we met she was a completely different girl from what I expected her to be. So down-to-earth and innocent. I’ve named her Mallika Sharafat."
The 64-year-old actor states that Mallika, who hails from Rohtak, is just like any other small town girl and they bonded quite well while shooting for the film.
The sexagenarian is anxiously waiting to watch the Mallika Sherawat starrer Hollywood flick 'Politics Of Love'.
Written and directed by K.C. Bokadia, 'Dirty Politics' revolves round the infamous Bhanwari Devi case.
Earlier reports were doing the rounds that director K.C. Bokadia had offered the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal a role in the film.
However, Kejriwal had turned down the offer owing to his professional responsibility.
'Dirty Politics' stars Mallika Sherawat, Jackie Shroff, Ashutosh Rana, Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Dikshit Dave, Dhruv Agarwal and Naseeruddin Shah in prominent roles.
Produced by Nihal Farhat, the film is slated for a March release.
