As many as 600 odd houses were constructed here by the Karnataka Housing Board back in 1980. Large scale encroachment is taking place at the backside.

Commercial sharks have made inroads on the street (Ist B Main) causing traffic hazards. No town planning officials are there to check the encroachment. KHB has provided two small pieces of land for parks out of which one is yet to be developed and the other is being developed. One small piece of land earmarked for children’s park has been taken away by KHB. The occupants of this place are mostly daily-wage earners. Therefore, it is not possible for the parents to take their little ones to far away parks. The KHB should spare this said piece of land for the welfare of the people.
