Sadhguru to lead Yoga session at Manyata Tech Park on Sunday

To mark the International Yoga Day being observed for the first time across the globe, Isha Foundation’s Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva will lead the Yoga session at Manyata Tech Park in the City on June 20.

More than 5,000 people are expected to participate in the event beginning at 4.30 pm, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah along with Agriculture Minister Krishna Byregowda. The event is open to public and simple yet powerful practices under “Upa Yoga” will be offered in an easy to follow step by step process.

The novel initiatives by the foundation to be held on International Yoga Day include teaching simple Yoga practices to all passengers on board all Spicejet flights.

Besides the foundation will hold session for all 1,500 linemen of Bescom in the City on June 21.

As part of International Yoga Day celebrations, more than 200 yoga sessions will be held in 79 corporations, 19 institutions, eight apartment complexes and three malls reaching out to thousands of people across the City. The sessions will continue even after June 21.

The ground events will be conducted by 35,600 trained volunteers in 1,00,000 locations throughout the globe. These practices are also being offered online at www.Yogayoga.org.
Other yoga sessions planned by the foundation includes Yoga sessions at Indian Embassies in the United States, South America, Canada, Europe and Asia.
