Joint forces closing in on Maoist leader Kishenji

He might fall to the security dragnet any moment, they added.

“Kishenji is very much within our reach. We don’t think he has been successful in escaping from the forest region of Lalgarh. As per our information, he is in the Lalgarh belt itself,” West Midnapore Superintendent of Police Manoj Verma said.
What Verma declined to elaborate in too many words is that Kishenji, who is on the run since a crack of team of the joint forces almost closed in on him and his cadres in the thick jungles of the district recently, has not yet succeeded in slipping out of the security net thrown in on all sides of the region.

The Maoist leader, sources said, has been constantly changing his hideout and the frequency of the change is as close as every alternate six hours.
