<p>A standout performance by Ajay Thakur and a solid performance from Manjeet Chhillar helped Bengaluru Bulls rout Bengal Warriors 33-22 in the Pro Kabaddi League match at the Gachibowli Stadium here on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Bengaluru consolidated their third spot by taking their tally to 30 points in eight matches. For the Warriors it was a second big defeat after their 24 points loss to the hosts Telugu Titans on Wednesday. They have 11 points in nine outings and stay in the seventh spot.<br /><br />After a slow start the teams warmed up with Mahendra Rajput putting his team up with a hand touch on veteran Dhramaraj Cherlathan, in the rival left corner. It was a close fight till the 16th minute when the scores stood at 9-9.<br /><br />For the Bulls it was Ajay Thakur who came up with seven raid points and one from a catch before he fell in a raid to Nilesh Shinde and Mahendra. The Warriors scored through Mahendra and Jang Kun Lee. Deepak Kumar too made his presence felt.<br /><br />At half-time the game was still in the balance as the Bulls held a slight edge at 10-16 but the second half told a different story as Bulls dominated.<br /><br />Titans march on<br /><br />In the other match of the day, hosts Telugu Titans rode on a fine performance from Meraj Shekyh to trounce a listless Patna Pirates 54-32. <br /><br />The Titans were so ruthless that after inflicting the first all-out in just five minutes of play, they went on to score two more all-outs just few minutes before the half time whistle.</p>
