The second annual Israeli Film Festival will be held from August 14 to 27, at three different venues — Alliance Francaise, Bangalore International Center and Suchitra.
It pays tribute to the similarities between India and Israel, who take much from each other. The first films to be screened are ‘Frozen Days’, a 2005-made film, and ‘Nymphs in the Mist’, a 2007 production, at Suchitra Film Society.
Other films like ‘2 Night’, ‘My Lovely Sister’, ‘Out of Sight’, ‘Restoration’, ‘The World is Funny’ and ‘Things Behind the Sun’ will be shown.
‘Desperado Square’, which pays tribute to the Bollywood movie ‘Sangam’, will also be showcased.
All the films are in Hebrew, with English subtitles. Entry is free. For more details, visit their Facebook page, ‘IsraelInBengaluru’.
