JOIN USThe High Court on Thursday ordered notice to the State government, the BBMP and the BDA in a petition challenging the conversion of the CA sites into residential plots by a housing society.
The petitioner A Seetharamiah, president of Talakaverynagara Nivasigala Kshemabhivridhi Sangha, has questioned the conversion of land meant for parks and civic amenities (CA) sites into residential plots by the Talakaverynagara Gruha Nirmana Sahakara Sangha.
The petitioner has contended that two parks and two CA sites have been converted into residential sites and sold with the help of the BBMP. The petitioner sought directions from the court to retain these areas for the designated purpose. A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice S K Mukherjee and Justice B V Nagarathna ordered notice and adjourned the hearing.
