Charitable trust adopts govt school

The trust, formed to improve children in extra-curricular activities apart from academics, adopted G Charlopalli Government School in the taluk. Speaking at a programme organised to distribute uniforms donated by the trust recently, Religious head of the Billur Sri Anjaneyaswamy temple, K M Nagaraj spoke. BRC Co-ordinator Venkateshappa said that such steps were necessary for the progress of educational system. Government Employees’ Association president R Hanumanthareddy, school head master P Vijay Kumar, G Maddepalli cluster’s CRP Y Shivappa, ex-serviceman R Chowdappa, Teachers’ Association secretary M Narayanaswamy, Guluru CRP Venkatarayappa, Community schooling guide K N Vijay Shekar, teachers Isabella Crastha and others were peresent.
