Remove bottlenecks, say young biz leaders

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a number of incentives to encourage startups, budding entrepreneurs on Saturday urged the government to streamline the system by removing bottlenecks in doing business including registration of new companies. 

During interaction organised on part of Startup India, number of young businessmen shared their experiences and helps required from the government in future. Snapdeal co-founder CEO Kunal Bahl said registering a company should be made quickly instead of existing one month. Bhavish Aggarwal, founder and CEO of Ola Cabs, said with the biggest challenge for any startup is facing right talent, the government must ensured to sufficient supply of skilled manpower. “The government must streamline the system while removing unwanted legalities,” suggested Naveen Tewari, Inmobi founder and CEO.Radhika Agarwal, co-founder ShopClues said, “If policies are right, India is the best place to invest.”

Reacting to the suggestions, Union Minister for Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman said the government will address issues raised by them including starting a new business or exit from it. She said Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is working “hard” on the Bankruptcy Code.Remove bottlenecks, say young biz leaders.
