The stampede took place during the chariot procession of Gangadhareshwara at about 4:30 am, they said.The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old woman Nagamma, a resident of Shimshapura in Malavalli taluk.All the injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals, police said.
